Volunteer: Finance Committee MembersChild Care Network is seeking individuals with knowledge of and experience with accurate financial reporting, financial statements, and/or managing investments to participate on the Finance Committee. The Finance Committee assists the Board of Directors in its oversight responsibilities relating to fiscal management and is Chaired by the Board Treasurer. The Finance Committee’s principal task is the approval and monitoring of the agency budget and financials. The Finance Committee role is important in ensuring the agency is properly utilizing resources according to written policies and funder guidelines. The Finance Committee meetings take place virtually one morning a month (typically the third Thursday at 9:00 a.m.). Volunteer: Language InterpretationChild Care Network is in need of individuals available to provide interpreter services by appointment and/or on demand. Volunteer interpreters will use telephone, in-person, or web-based (Zoom or Teams) tools to provide interpretation services to Child Care Network staff and clients. We would like volunteers who are fluent in Spanish or Arabic. Volunteers will be called upon on an as needed basis. It is not anticipated that interpreter services will be needed every day, however, when needed, the volunteer can anticipate that it could take up to an hour of their time. In the event of outreach opportunities, a volunteer may be requested to provide 2-3 hours of services.
