Who We Are
Mission: To connect older adults (55+) with meaningful volunteer opportunities.
A nationally recognized program, AmeriCorps Seniors’ Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) matches adults 55 and older with local volunteer opportunities. Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan sponsors this program in Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties in southeast Michigan.
What We Do
Volunteers assist in various roles, including tutoring, meal delivery, hospital assistance, and more. The program offers flexibility in service hours, with volunteers choosing how and when to contribute. Benefits include recognition, mileage reimbursement, and volunteer insurance. It is open to individuals of all faiths, not just Catholics.
