Islamic Center of Detroit

Mission The Islamic Center of Detroit (ICD) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the most vulnerable people of Metropolitan Detroit, guided by Muslim faith, Islamic principles, and a steadfast belief in helping others. Since opening in January 2000, the ICD has provided programs and services for both its Muslim community and the underserved residents of surrounding neighborhoods, including Brooks, Fiskhorn, Warrendale, Cody Rouge, and nearby areas. Vision To be a model of faith-driven community service, fostering unity, compassion, and opportunity for all. The ICD envisions a thriving Metropolitan Detroit where every individual—regardless of faith, background, or circumstance—has access to resources, support, and pathways to a better quality of life.
