The Detroit Boys Mentoring Organization

Who We Are

Our mission is to provide mentoring, guidance, and resources that empower young men to succeed academically, personally, and professionally.

What We Do

The Detroit Boys Mentoring Club (DBMC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to uplifting and supporting underserved boys in the city of Detroit. Through afterschool and Saturday programming, we offer a safe, structured environment where youth receive: Academic Support – tutoring, homework help, and skill-building activities to improve classroom performance. Mentorship & Life Skills – one-on-one and group mentoring focused on leadership, character development, and conflict resolution. Career & College Readiness – exposure to career pathways, workforce development, and higher education opportunities. Enrichment Opportunities – workshops, recreational activities, and community service projects that promote teamwork, responsibility, and confidence. By providing consistent support and positive role models, DBMC equips young men with the tools they need to thrive and become leaders in their communities.
