March of Dimes

Who We Are

Mission: To lead the fight for the health of all moms and babies.

March of Dimes is a nonprofit organization committed to ending preventable maternal health risks and death, ending preventable preterm birth and infant death and closing the health equity gap for all families. Building on an 80+ year legacy, March of Dimes is dedicated to funding lifesaving research, providing programs and education and advocating for vital health equity to create a world where every family, mom and baby are healthy and strong, regardless of wealth, race, gender or geography.

What We Do

The March of Dimes helps moms have full-term pregnancies and healthy babies. If something goes wrong we offer information and comfort to families.  We research the problems that threaten our babies and work on preventing them. About 4 million babies were born in the United States last year, and the March of Dimes helped each and every one through research, education, vaccines and breakthroughs.
