The Newburg United Methodist Church Rummage Sale is one of our largest community outreach events of the year. Held twice annually, the sale features a huge selection of gently used housewares, electronics, clothing for all ages, shoes, linens, furniture, books, toys, baby gear, sporting goods, crafts, and more!
Proceeds from the sale support Newburg’s mission of building a community grounded in service, healing, hope, and hospitality.
We rely on volunteers to help make this event possible.
- Volunteer roles include:
- Sale‑Day Support: Assist shoppers, replenish tables, answer questions, keep sections tidy, and help maintain a welcoming environment throughout the event.
- Cashier & Checkout Support: Provide friendly checkout assistance
- Breakdown & Clean‑Up: Help pack up remaining items, clear rooms, and reset the facility after the sale closes. (Saturday, May 2)
