Project Description: Volunteers will participate in Green Space/Land Stewardship cleanup and maintenance. The work done contributes to sustaining safe, happy, and prospering neighborhoods in Southwest Detroit. UNI manages four public parks and over 11 acres of land in Southwest Detroit.

Our Mission:

The mission of United Way for Southeastern Michigan is to mobilize the caring power of Detroit and Southeastern Michigan to improve communities and individual lives in measurable and lasting ways. This project is a part of our Basic Needs work, working to provide the community with needs such as housing, food and clothing.
