Join United Way for Southeastern Michigan at Development Centers for a family-friendly volunteer opportunity! Volunteers will be assisting with multiple projects both indoors and outdoors (whichever you prefer) that include beautification, gardening, canvassing, book and toy sorting/organizing and more. We will start the day by taking a quick tour and learning about the incredible work that Development Centers is doing in the community. This is an excellent chance to meet your fellow Emerging Philanthropists, while giving back! Breakfast and beverages will be provided.
Development Centers has a staff of over 350 dedicated professionals and is now providing assistance to more than 11,000 consumers each year through our present listing of over 26 behavioral health & prevention programs. All in addition to offering a comprehensive array of housing placement services, employment readiness training, and much more!
Development Centers is dedicated to the healthy development of children, adults and families through mental health, employment and related human service programming.
