United Way for Southeastern Michigan is an official Gold Charity Partner of the 2018 Detroit Free Press Marathon, which takes place Oct. 20-21 in downtown Detroit. Our Run United team works to raise funds to support our Education, Health and Economic Prosperity focus in the Greater Detroit region.
Volunteers are needed over the course of the weekend to assist at our cheer and water stations.
- Sat., Oct. 20, 7 - 10:30 a.m.: Water/Cheer Station on the 5k Course (Riverwalk)
- Sun., Oct. 21, 6 - 10:30 a.m.: Water Station on the Marathon Course (downtown)
- Sun., Oct. 21, 6:30-10:30 a.m.: Cheer Station on the Marathon Course (downtown)

Please note: Volunteers under the age of 18 will need a parent/guardian to complete and sign a United Way volunteer release form.
