The Health Fair Volunteer serves as a helping hand during the ACCESS Child and Adolescent Center Health Fair. Volunteers will help guide health fair guests to clinic services and additional outdoor services the day of the Health Fair. Volunteers represent the agency to members of the public who visit ACCESS on August 15-16, 2018. Volunteers will be provided complementary food and an ACCESS t-shirt. It is preferred that volunteers commit to both days, but it is not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greets guests and direct them to clinic services and outdoor services.
- Answers questions about the agency and Health Fair Activity schedule.
- Assist guests with health fair registration.
- Assist with food distribution.
- Monitor foot traffic and safety hazards.
- Prepares correspondence as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of ACCESS
- Pleasant manner, patience, problem-solving ability, dependability
- Arabic speaking preferred
