Join United Way for Southeastern Michigan as we work on the Keep Growing Detroit farm! Volunteers are needed on Weds., Sept. 12 from 1 - 4 p.m. to assist with farm maintenance, planting and weeding. Gloves and tools will be available, but volunteers should:
- Bring a reusable water bottle and any sunscreen and snacks that may be needed
- Wear clothes and shoes that can get dirty/wet/muddy
This opportunity will take place rain or shine, unless there is lightning. Please note that the farm is a no-smoking site.
