The Salvation Army of Washtenaw County has organized a SantaCon 5K Walk at Briarwood Mall on Friday, November 16th from 6-7pm and we need your help. We would love to have a strong student presence! We're expecting quite a lot of press coverage, so it would be amazing to have a great turnout from everyone in our community!
Here are the details:
When: Friday, November 16th from 6-7:30pm
Where: Briarwood Mall, Ann Arbor (Inside the mall near JCPenney)
What: SantaCon 5K Walk for Change
Dress in your craziest holiday costume and walk 3 laps (or whatever you’d like) inside the Briarwood Mall. The walk ends at 7pm as Briarwood has the annual tree lighting ceremony and the "real santa" makes it snow right inside the mall. We’ll have live music, prizes for best costume and more!
Why: Funds raised for the SantaCon 5K Walk for Change event will go directly towards helping ensure every child in Washtenaw County has presents under the Christmas Tree this year.
