Founded over 50 years ago by Delores Bennett, the Adopt-a-Child Christmas Program collects gifts and warm clothing for children in need, ages 0 - 12 years. Volunteers are essential to the success of this annual holiday program, which will match over 1,000 families with gifts. Individuals and Groups are needed to serve as Greeters, Gift Ambassadors and Crowd Management Hosts.
The event will take place at COBO Center, 1 Washington Blvd. Detroit, MI on Friday, December 7th from 3:30 - 8:30 PM.
A Volunteer Training will take place at 6:00 PM on Thursday, December 6th at COBO Center to acclimate you to the process, as well as your assignment.
