The College 101 presentations will offer students an opportunity to gain college knowledge earlier than 12th grade which will support the students with better understanding the critical college-going steps/barriers that often contribute to a lack of college enrollment. The presentations will be led by General Motors volunteers from Metro Detroit. The volunteers will not only discuss the College 101 content, they will also get students signed up for the Get Schooled Detroit website and discuss their journey from high school to their current profession.
