Every year at Oakland Family Services we provide preschool programming to children in our community who wouldn't have access to preschool education otherwise.
We are looking for passionate people to come in for an hour or two to talk about what they do for a living. For so many of our children, careers such as doctor, lawyer, scientist, fitness/wellness coach, etc. seem out of reach, but when they hear about something new and exciting from a caring adult, it ignites their imagination!
We are particularly looking for people in the professions listed below:
- Police
- Fire
- Medical
- Artist
- Fitness Professional- yoga, dance, etc.
- Postal Worker
- Baker/Chef
- Veterinarian/Zookeeper
- Lawyer
