HAVEN is partnering with Broadway in Detroit for their show Waitress which depicts intimate partner violence. Volunteers will sell pies to audience and a portion of the proceeds will go to HAVEN. Volunteers will be allowed to stay for their performance and enjoy the show from any unsold seat, or If the show is sold out, from a location in the back or sides of the main floor.
Participating volunteers will arrive at the Fisher Theatre no later than 90 minutes prior to performance time. Volunteers will check in with the concessions manager to receive their supplies and check in with the concessions manager again at the end of intermission. The concessions manager will sign off on pies sold and the amount from that performance to be donated to the non-profit organization.
