United Way for Southeastern Michigan is proud to be an official Gold Charity Partner of the 2019 Detroit Free Press Marathon, which takes place Oct. 19 - 20 in downtown Detroit. Our Run United team raises funds to support our Education, Health and Economic Prosperity work in Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties.
Volunteers are needed over the course of the weekend to assist at our water stations.
- Sat., Oct. 19, 8 - 11 a.m.: Water/Cheer Station on the 5k Course (RiverFront)
- Sun., Oct. 20, 6 - 10:30 a.m.: Water/Cheer Station on the Marathon Course (location:Woodward/Jefferson intersection - in front of the Joe Louis fist)
