Join us at The Guidance Center's Walter White Community Resource Center in River Rouge to help them reset the center for program changes that are coming with summer!
Since 1958, The Guidance Center has been committed to its mission to strengthen families and change lives. Throughout the last six decades, the organization has maintained a collaborative relationship with its local communities and schools to support individuals of all ages in the areas of education, mental health, workforce development, and more.
The Walter White Community Resource Center is one of The Guidance Center's 23 facilities throughout the region, and hosts family literacy events, parent workshops, grandparent support groups, free books, special community events, and a variety of other community resources.
With the changing of some programming at this Community Resource Center (CRC), volunteers will help facility reset for the summer months.
Volunteer tasks may include: cleaning and organizing classrooms, sorting the community clothing closet and diaper depot, preparing for future events, and more.
