The Michigan Community Service Commission is gearing up for Governor’s Service Awards on Thursday September 5th at the Detroit Opera House in Detroit, MI. Join us in service as we honor volunteers from across the great state of Michigan for the great impact they are making in our communities.
Our ideal volunteer will be dressed in business attire, have a smiling face, and enjoy working with the general-public. Various positions include registration table, ticket collecting, ushers, honoree seating, staging assistance, sponsor ambassadors, and way-finding.
Volunteers can commit to one full shift from 2:45pm - 8:45pm. Later shifts are available for working professionals and students. (Please inquire) Parking, light dinner, and post ceremony refreshments provided. Business attire required.
