We are looking for a group of creative and hardworking people to help us build props, paint signs and prep materials for our fall events: Hike n’ Hootenanny and Animal Haunts: Sensational Swamps! We will supply all of the materials, you bring the talent!
Halloween seems far away, but we are already preparing for our beloved non-scary Halloween traditions, Hike n’ Hootenanny and Animal Haunts! This unique, 2-day event offers an adults-only night and a non-scary evening program for families with kids 12 and under. Hike n’ Hootenanny night features a beer garden with local brews, fun nature-themed activities, and our signature wildlife! During Animal Haunts, participants go on a guided night hike with short skits along the trail and take part in other fall- and animal-related activities and games. These are high-volume events that draw over 300 visitors from our community. Hike n’ Hootenanny & Animal Haunts happen in any weather—snow, sun, rain, warm, or cold. It is an exciting and educational evening for many families in the Ann Arbor community.
