Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering with us. The PARC program is the post adoption resource center run through the Judson Center which is an agency that focuses on adoptions, foster care and family preservation. PARC runs a monthly support group for families with adopted children. This support group happens on the first Monday of every month from 6:00-8:00 pm at Knox Presbyterian Church in Ann Arbor. During this meeting we provide dinner from 6:00-6:30 and after that we split off into three different groups. The adults, the teens and the younger children are the groups we have right now, our vision and goal is to eventually be able to have enough volunteers to utilize the nursery and be able to accommodate our families with babies. Most of our help is needed with our younger kiddos so volunteers would just be an extra set of hands and eyes. That’s an overview of our support group. If after hearing about our program, your group is still interested in volunteering, let me know and I can send over some paperwork that will need to be filled out for each volunteer. Please contact Jane Argiero at JaneArgiero@JudsonCenter.org for the paperwork necessary in order to volunteer.
