Outgoing, sales-oriented volunteers are needed to work the room and sell raffle tickets at Vista Maria’s signature event, Celebrating Women”. Tasks include walking the venue, taking payments, and assisting guests with filling out their tickets. Attire is business professional (black or dark colors), with comfortable shoes recommended. Dinner will be provided. Raffle sellers work in pairs— a great opportunity for couples or friends!
- Sell raffle tickets before the program and during dinner
- One person operates the iPad / takes payments, the other assists guests with filling out their tickets
- Volunteers will be in charge of cash and credit card transactions!
- Move around the room when Ms. Walker offers Raffle from the Podium.
- Put all raffle stubs in raffle drum
- Have raffle drum ready and at the stage for raffle pulling at 7:50 p.m.
- Bring winning raffle tickets and cash to auction check out.
About the Celebrating Women event:
Celebrating Women began in 2000 as a way to honor successful young women at Vista Maria and prominent women role models in our community. By celebrating their achievements, we hope to empower women to realize their dreams, believe in themselves and accomplish their goals. This important fundraising event will be attended by over 500 business leaders, philanthropists, and community supporters.
