Friendly, mobile-savvy volunteers are needed to assist guests with the silent auction at Vista Maria’s signature event, Celebrating Women”. You will provide general auction information and help guests place their online bids (via smartphone or iPad). Attire is business professional (black or dark colors), with comfortable shoes recommended. Dinner will be provided. Auction helpers may work in pairs— a great opportunity for couples or friends!
- Silent Auction Support (5:00 – 7:30)
- Provide general auction information (times, how to claim items, etc.)
- Help guests view the online catalog
- Help guests place mobile bids
- Move items to the check-out area after the auction closes
- Paddle Raise Support (7:30– 7:45)
- Help the auctioneer to see any bidders in the back/sides of the room
- Take fast notes of the paddle numbers being called
- Bring notes to the finance team at the registration table
About the Celebrating Women event:
Celebrating Women began in 2000 as a way to honor successful young women at Vista Maria and prominent women role models in our community. By celebrating their achievements, we hope to empower women to realize their dreams, believe in themselves and accomplish their goals. This important fundraising event will be attended by over 500 business leaders, philanthropists, and community supporters.
