HAVEN has a 3/4 acre produce garden onsite. It allows us to provide survivors with healthy food and programming around healthy eating and living. Our Garden Manager, Rebecca Gray, is excited to hit the ground running this year. We are looking for willing volunteers to help us get the garden ready for the new season. We have a list of projects to get done, and we can't do it without you! So whether it is just you, or you're bringing a group with you, we welcome all to our garden.
To maintain safety during COVID-19, we are:
- Maintaining social distancing and capacity guidelines
- Requiring a health screening upon arrival to our facility
- Requiring all volunteers to wear masks for the entirety of their shift, unless indicated otherwise by supervisor (gardening opportunities only)
- Providing hand sanitizer
- Ongoing cleaning and sanitizing efforts
We do not offer court-mandated community service opportunities
13-17 year old volunteers must have an adult supervisor with them.
