Summer Stock Up - DETROIT

Expired

Description

Many food pantries see an influx of donations throughout the winter, leaving shelves low on stock during the summer months. Food insecurity is year-round and we need YOUR help to provide our partners with the food items they need to support our community.

In partnership with United Ways across the state of Michigan, United Way for Southeastern Michigan is hosting a nonperishable food drive and online fundraiser to provide basic food items to pantries in Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties from June 1 to June 21.

We are looking for individuals, companies and groups to help us stock the shelves of our Wayne County food partner, Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries, by donating unopened and unexpired food items from the lists below.

Drop-Off Information: If you are registering on behalf of a company or group, select RESPOND AS A TEAM, and put the name of your company/group in the notes of your registration. You/your group is responsible for the collection, delivery and drop-off of any food collected. After completing your registration, you will receive an email with more details regarding drop-off information for Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries.
