Hotter Than July started in 1996 to celebrate Detroit's Black LGBTQ+ community. It holds the title of the world's second-oldest Black LGBTQ+ Pride event.
Testing Zone - Hotter Than July will offer free HIV, STD/STI, Hep-C, and COVID-19 tests to community members at three locations: Palmer Park, Corktown Health, and Backstreet At Large. Testing will be July 23rd-July25th, 10am-5pm and 7 pm-10 pm
Volunteering will be in shifts.
Five volunteers will be needed for this event to assist with set-up and crowd control. None of the volunteers will be participating in the testing itself.
