Join a Volunteer Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD) in helping flood victims recover from the devastating flooding that happened in late June. Volunteers will help unload clean-up kits, tools and supplies from trucks and prepare them for distribution into the community.
This opportunity is best for small groups (about 4 people) in Dearborn: The Friday, July 30th and at 11am volunteers will load transport truck at Church of Latter-day Saints (20201 Rotunda Drive, Dearborn 48124). Weight of each cleanup kit is approximately 5 pounds. Three hundred kits are to be loaded.
