In late June, Detroit had significant rainfall that impacted more than 26,000 homes. There are still vulnerable people who cannot perform the work themselves need help with removing debris, cleaning, and applying mold inhibitor. Volunteer teams continue to respond, many from out of state.
These volunteers are being housed by a local organization that does not have a full kitchen to prepare meals. Meal Provision Volunteers are asked to assist these hard working volunteer teams by providing a meal for 20-30 people. Drop off site address will be communicated to volunteers once registered.
