Join us to volunteer at Washtenaw County Conservation District’s Annual Fall Tree and Native Plant Distribution! Thursday shifts will be mainly sorting plants while Friday shifts will be a mix of sorting and distributing. Snacks, instructions, and any tools needed will be provided. Are you volunteering? Just bring home your plant order after your shift. For everyone else, plants are ready to be picked up Friday Oct 1, 1:00-6:00 p.m.
WCCD has been distributing trees, plants & tools for conservation since the 1950’s. Over 7.1 million trees and shrubs have been planted as a result of WCCD’s distributions, contributing to conservation practices such as reforestation, soil erosion reduction & water quality improvement, habitat restoration, and naturalization projects.
The mission of WCCD is to assist residents with the conservation, management, and wise-use of natural resources in Washtenaw County. WCCD is a unit of local government, managed by an elected 5-member board of directors. Washtenaw County Conservation District is funded in part by residents like you through a voter-approved county millage.

We need more volunteers on Fri Oct 1st from 3-6pm. The customer pick-up will be continuing and we need enough people to keep the pick-up stations flowing. Please consider joining us then!
