Located in Detroit, Michigan, U.S.A, Canfield Consortium has partnered with Wayne State University to start a project in the East Canfield neighborhood. This project, when completed, will connect the neighborhood to Brewer Park by using vacant lots to provide a walking path through the community.
On October 23 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the project will be looking for volunteers in 2-3 hour shifts to help clear and help with pruning, weed trimming and litter pick up at the first two vacant lots that will start this walkway.

Tools and will be provided but feel free to bring your own as well.
