Join us as we gift new books to elementary school students to help them grow into strong readers!
United Way for Southeastern Michigan is partnering with Scholastic, Inc. to host several My Home Library Book Fairs at Pontiac Public School District elementary schools throughout the year. At these book fairs, students will get to pick out free books to take home with them to create a home library.
Volunteers are needed throughout the week of May 2, 2022 at Rogers Elementary School in Pontiac to:
- Help students pick out books
- Help keep books organized
- Assist with the book check-out process
- Assist in other areas of the event as needed
All volunteers will need to complete a school volunteer form prior to volunteering.
Two shifts are available for registration and volunteers can sign up for one shift or the full day. Volunteer shifts may change slightly depending on class schedules.
