Join us as we gift new books to elementary school students to help them grow into strong readers!
United Way for Southeastern Michigan is partnering with Scholastic, Inc. to host several My Home Library Book Fairs at River Rouge elementary schools throughout the year. At these book fairs, students will get to pick out free books to take home with them to create a home library.
Volunteers are needed on May 26 & 27, 2022 at Ann Visger Preparatory Academy in River Rouge to:
- Help students pick out books
- Help keep books organized
- Assist with the book check-out process
- Assist in other areas of the event as needed
All volunteers must wear a mask.
