We are looking for groups of 4-6 volunteers to clean the dining area of our Soup Kitchen once a month. One group would come in per week on a Thursday or Friday to make sure the dining area is ready for hundreds to come through on Sunday. This would likely take around 3-4 hours and could be anytime between 9am-5pm.
This group may take one or more weeks per month. Having a clean and polished dining area helps everyone that comes through it feel better about themselves and the environment around them and creates a welcoming environment.
- Clean tables, chairs, floors, and other surfaces that need cleaning
- Previous cleaning/sanitation experience is not required
- Volunteers must be able to move tables and chairs
- Volunteers could be taught to use our floor cleaner
