United Way's 21-Day Equity Challenge is an opportunity to expand our shared knowledge and understanding of the historic and persistent inequities that play a role in our social and economic landscape here in Southeastern Michigan. This year's challenge includes Action Fridays - opportunities for you to turn your learning into action in our community!

Join United Way at the Ann Arbor YMCA for a mural painting project on Friday, June 7!

The Ann Arbor YMCA is excited to invite community members to participate in a mural painting project as part of the United Way's 21 Day Equity Challenge. We will be painting a mural focused on the theme "for all" designed by local teens in our Youth Volunteer Corp (YVC) program. This event is for all ages and family friendly, but youth under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Please dress in clothes that can get paint on them, and close-toed shoes. We will provide light refreshments.

Four shifts are available:

  • 3 - 4 p.m.
  • 4 - 5 p.m.
  • 5 - 6 p.m.
  • 6 - 7 p.m.

Volunteers can sign up for as many shifts as they would like. To register, click on the yellow respond button.
