We want to stop the summer slide and make sure that youth do not fall further behind before the upcoming school year. We do this by sharing the joy of reading with them!
Starting July 9, we will be looking for passionate volunteers like you to come one day a week for an hour and read to a child to help build their reading comprehension. We provide all the training and resources for you. All you have to do is commit to showing up each week. You will be reading with the same child each week who will be between the grades of K-5th. Our goal is that by the end of the summer we will have boosted their reading level by one grade! We need YOU to help us do this.
