Volunteer to help our non-profit apple orchard. Volunteers are needed to help spread mulch around 1000 apple trees. This is a 'fun day' because we will be many in number and quickly, over a 2 hour time period, weed whack, lay landscape cloth and mulch this 1000 tree orchard followed by a luscious picnic. Everyone welcome to help and anyone under age 15 must be accompanied by an adult. There are jobs for all skill levels from sitting and cutting landscape cloth to size to shoveling mulch. The time planned right now is 10AM - Noon on Sunday Sept 1 but it could change to afternoon depending on volunteer responses and depending on weather. So please let us know if you are interested.
